EXL uses a three-bolt flanged pattern on a triangular foot. Engineers specify EXL when a compact flange is enough for the moment from belt pull or when an existing plate has a legacy three-hole layout.

Ensure the plate thickness and bolt torque match the reaction forces from your drive. If shock loads or large overhung belts apply, validate the housing size with published load data or ask engineering for a review.

Dimensions per size

J is the bolt pitch circle diameter (mm). H1 is the distance from the mounting face to the shaft centre, used to set drive geometry.
